Are You Sharing Your Gifts With The World?

In his book Originals: How Non-Conformists Move The World, Adam Grant tells the story of how the famous astronomer Copernicus refused to publish his findings on how the earth revolved around the sun (instead of the other way around) for 22 years! Why? He had a fear of being rejected.

His was a discovery that changed the world. What if he had never gotten over his fear? What if it had never been published?

If you've had a reading with me, or followed my social media posts, you've heard me talk about how each of us has something unique to contribute to the world.

Do you know what it is you are here to contribute? Your hands do.

In addition to your unique purpose that's been coded into your fingerprints, your palms may have one or more line formations that indicate exceptional abilities. Abilities that you are required to share with the world.

These line formations are known as Gift Markings.

Gifts Are Only Gifts When They Are Given

A gift by definition is something that you give. If you never share your gifts, if you keep them to yourself, are they still considered gifts?

Not if you have a Gift Marking. Having one or more of these 18 marks in your hands means you have entered into a Sacred Contract with the universe, agreeing to be the bearer of the Gift.

And like earthly contracts, there are clauses and terms that stipulate how you are to share your Gift, as well as what happens if you renege on your agreement.

Let's look at an example of how this works.

The image above shows a hand with a large six pointed star under the ring finger. This is the Gift Marking for exceptional creativity.

This person's Sacred Contract requires that she make her creativity a centerpiece of her life, using it every single day. She also has a responsibility to step into the spotlight in order to be seen by the proper audience.

Will that be easy for her? Not likely. Other marks in her hand reveal she thinks differently from her tribe but struggles to communicate her own point of view. She also has a high need for acceptance.

So what does her contract say will happen if she hides her gift? She will suffer from feelings of not belonging, of having no safe place where she can be herself. For a person who is uniquely creative, this would be misery.

How To Avoid The Psychic Two-By-Four Upside The Head

Your Gifts are there to serve your Soul Purpose. Like Copernicus, not sharing them might mean a loss, not just for you, but for others, or the greater world.

The Universe wants to see you fulfill that purpose. If you withhold your Gifts, it will present you with a frustration or challenge that’s directly related to your Gift, that can only be relieved by sharing your Gift. I call it the Cosmic Set-up.

Basically the universe is sending you a nudge by creating a situation that will eventually become unbearable. It's saying to you, "Don't like how this feels? What are you going to do about it?"

The answer is always, embrace your Gift.
